A Month of Gifts: Day Twenty-Five

Lately, I have been reading Ann Voskamp's One Thousand Gifts. As Kieran enters the last month of his first year, I decided to list some of the gifts we have celebrated since that wonderful March day as a sort of countdown to his very first birthday:

51.  Coming home to the twinkle in this little guy's eye. Jordan and I had the wonderful opportunity to go to Dubuque for our anniversary. It was our first time leaving Kieran overnight, and, while we both had a lot of fun together and enjoyed just being the two of us again, it was so much fun seeing the look on his face when he saw Mom and Dad were home. Warms this mom's heart, that's for sure.
