A Month of Gifts: Day Three

Lately, I have been reading Ann Voskamp's One Thousand Gifts. As Kieran enters the last month of his first year, I decided to list some of the gifts we have celebrated since that wonderful March day as a sort of countdown to his very first birthday:

8.  The ability to sleep anytime, anywhere...even while eating.

9.  Drying off little toes and delicate baby skin.

10.  Learning how to coax out those first drooly smiles--no matter how silly we parents have to be.

11.  But still loving that serious face that just pulls me in.
